I'll Come Back For You...

"I'll come back for you, Odysseus! I promise!"

For those of you who don't watch the video, here's a quick summary on the story (modified to fit Odysseus and Cain):

Cain came down with a horrible illness that was showing signs to be life threatening. The only way that he could possibly get better is if his Dalek father fixed him. (probably removing whatever was infected with the illness and replace it with robotics, I don't know) So Odysseus called the fourth Doctor to help. Good ol' teeth and curls came to the rescue, and took the sick hybrid to find his father. He left Odysseus at home, thinking it would be less stressful for him there. When they left, Cain was not doing well.
The Hybrid and Timelord were gone for about a day. Odysseus was terrified of what had happened to his best friend. Finally, later that night, Cain came home, seeming healthy as ever. He rushed inside and hugged the Thal. Behind him at the door, was the Doctor who was munching on jelly babies. Odysseus was so relieved! Cain then told him, that he will have to go away for a while, and that his illness wasn't fully gone. His father only let him come back home to say goodbye, and to promise that he would come back. Odysseus understood and they parted ways (sharing a kiss goodbye, of course~). The Thal was both grateful and depressed.
Later, like and hour later or so, this blond man knocks at Odysseus's door. He wore the same clothes that the Doctor did. He explained that he WAS the Doctor, and that he couldn't get Cain to his father in time. The daleks had killed them both. He apologized over and over... Though Odysseus didn't believe a word. Cain and the fourth Doctor were both just there, and he promised he'd be back! But the now blond Doctor explained what happened and said there was no way they could have been there. They were both dead by that time. The next day, they held a funeral for the hybrid.
Odysseus didn't believe that Cain was dead. He couldn't have been. He promised he'd come back.
And finally, after many years, he did. The hybrid returned like he promised, and he had somewhere he wanted to show Odysseus. Before they left, he called the Doctor (who was now the sixth Doctor) and excitedly told him Cain came back! The timelord was amazed and quickly set the cooridinates on the TARDIS to see the miracle with his own eyes, but when he got there, he only found that Odysseus had passed away... It was unknown why he died.
The two boys were reunited at last, and Cain kept his promise after all those years.

So there you have it. When I first heard the original story, I really wanted to do something based off of it. The only thing I could think of was OddyCain. I don't know why but it just... fits... Though if I actually write a story about this, it will be different, to fit the original better.
For now this drawing and summary is the only idea I had.
