I Obey - A Poem For BlazeA mission I was assigned,Another experiment to play.I was chosen against my will,But I obey.A human body I possessed.I thought I'd never see they day,To be shoved into an inferior being,But I obey.A timelord drug me out.A much better body they say,As they put me in an android,But I obey. They treat me as their own,They say it will all be okay.It never will be,But I obey.Their kind words change me.A new emotion I never felt in such a way,What am I becoming? But I obey.An overwhelming urge,From the truth I had stray.I try to fight the feeling,But I obey. The last one's on the ground,In terror they lay.I do not want to hurt them......But I obey.
The Mare's CastGazing at her hoofAs she sat upon her bed.Longing to walk again. Her mind clouded with dread. Her hoof was wrapped up tight,By plastic medical bounds.Much like her hopes and dreamsWhich are buried by her downs.A bondage made to stabilizeTo heal is what it's for.But the injuries are permanent,To haunt the mare forevermore.High hopes once filled her headOf a soldier who served out of care. Those days are over now,All that's left is despair. All she has to hope forIs to simply walk again. To stroll along the sidewalk,Or hang out with a friend. She will get there eventually,And take it one day at a time.At least she has high hopesOf walking it off just fine.
